His costume is simple but effective; he is wearing a plain white vest with a black cap and a chain. The black cap with the white vest creates a contrast as they don’t go together. His vest could also have been used to reveal the tattoo’s along his arms so the audience are reminded that he is a mature adult now and not the kid he once was.
