front cover: Props

As you can see here my model Samira is wearing leather trousers, this gives out the R&B feel as many music artists wear these types of clothing, like for example; Rihanna, Beyonce, Nicki minaj ect. Also, the top she is wearing goes with the colour scheming of the front cover as the writing is white, similarly the part of the top matches the box that shapes the issue date just below the barcode which is black and the leather trousers as well.

Here the models hair is dyed half orangey-red colour to compliment some of the cover-lines which are red. Also, her hair is black from the top as this is one of the colour schemes I will be going with for my magazine.

The lipstick my model is wearing is purple, I chose this colour as one of my cover line will be purple, this will work effectively as it works with the front cover and creates this 'sexy' look. Also, I made my model smile in my front cover image as I want the whiteness of her teeth to shine through (example of that shown in the image above), as most of the cover-lines are white it matches the colour scheming of the page.
Furthermore, I included some jewellery like the neckless and the earrings, props like these are often used in many music R&B magazines that star a female as the front cover. Also, the earrings are black which go with the cover-lines of the front cover. The colour 'gold' of the neckless and the outlier of the earrings are used because, I wanted to create a sense of royalty, as the colour gold represents royalty and higher status which can further connote that this particular music magazine is of high standards, which will encourage people to be interested in the magazine and draw in more potential audiences.
